- iPhone 16 Pro may feature a new "Capture" button for camera accessibility.
- Larger screen sizes rumored for iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.
- Design tweaks expected in upcoming iPhone 16 series.
Recently obtained leaked computer-generated imagery (CAD) renders by 91Mobiles may provide an early look at the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro’s design. Though it looks similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, there are a few significant changes that have been rumored.
New iPhone 16 Pro CAD Renders Highlight Button Design Changes
The most notable of these modifications is the inclusion of a specific “Capture” button, which is situated on the left side of the gadget. This button, which is supposed to be flush with the frame and take up the old mmWave antenna space, is supposed to make it easier to access the camera app and may include features like focus and zoom control.
Even though 91Mobiles has a history of correctly spotting iPhone designs, it’s important to proceed cautiously when dealing with these renders because, in the past, their predictions haven’t matched the finished product—most notably, the Apple Watch Series 7.
The size of the display is the subject of yet another noteworthy modification. There is conjecture that the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models might have bigger screens than their predecessors. In particular, the Pro Max may grow from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro may see an increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches.
Except for these anticipated modifications, the general design is anticipated to stay mostly unchanged from the iPhone 15 Pro. This includes keeping elements from the previous version, like the rounded edges and titanium frame.
Prior rumors reports also alluded to the iPhone 16 Pro lineup’s potential for larger screens and a dedicated capture button. Recent research from the same source, however, raises the possibility that Apple may have given up on redesigning the “Action” button and will instead stick with the iPhone 15 Pro’s recognizable design.
Apple usually releases its newest iPhone models in September, as is customary. As fall approaches, there will probably be more leaks and rumors that provide more information about the appearance and functionality of the iPhone 16 series.
