The JioPhone can now be picked up from Amazon.in as well since it’s being officially sold by Reliance Digital. henceforth, the device can be bought from Amazon India, Mobikwik, and Jio’s own site. Nevertheless, the JioPhone was being sold on Amazon earlier, too, although unofficially where its prices would be hiked up to Rs. 1,700, or even Rs. 1,900, by the sellers who tried taking advantage of the phone’s supply constraints. The JioPhone is technically supposed to be free other than the Rs. 1,500 security deposit that would be refunded after three years if the phone was returned back to Jio in an acceptable condition.
To order the JioPhone you need to follow some simple steps; head over to the Amazon’s product page and purchase it by paying Rs. 1,500 as a security deposit , like you normally purchase stuff. After completing the above process, the buyer has to visit any nearest Reliance Digital or Jio store with the device, its box, and their Aadhar number, to get the phone activated.
