After much anticipation, the Layers Anarc Watch is finally here. The first-ever tech product from TechBurner, a popular tech YouTuber, has left the community wanting more. Anarc poses as a companion whether you are going out for a meeting or a party, it is both tech-oriented and fashion-forward with a patented design that took Shlok Shrivastava, the YouTuber, more than a year to score.
TechBurner’s Shlok Shrivastava Introduces Layers Anarc Watch
After more than a year of back and forth on design, UI, firmware, and more, YouTube channel TechBurner’s Shlok Shrivastava finally launched its first-ever tech product — the Layers Anarc. Part of Layers Limited, Anarc is a perfect blend for tech-savvy and yet, fashion-forward users.
Layers is promoting Anarc as a smartwatch offering higher precision in terms of measuring vitals. Be it your heart rate monitoring, SpO2, pedometer, or others, Anarc is poised to revolutionize it all with high-precision measurements that would leave even the best of smartwatches gasping for air.
Anarc sports an elongated octagonal watch face sporting a 1.85” AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 700 nits of peak brightness as advertised. The watch uses industrial-grade stainless steel for its construction with Gorilla Glass protection on top giving it a polished look and feel.
Certainly, one of the major USPs is the vital monitoring on-board. Shlok has pressed on the fact that other smartwatches have variances in heart rate, pulse, and SpO2 monitoring among others making them less reliant. However, in the case of Layers Anarc, it offers superior accuracy in terms of vitals such as heart rate, SpO2, sleep analysis, step counting, and beyond.
Layers have developed an in-house LayersOS to run on Anarc, and it is compatible with devices running Android 9.0 and above and iOS 13 and above giving it a much larger footprint of users who can check out the latest smartwatch.
A 350mAh battery fuels the device for a whopping ten days on a single charge based on your use case. Other features include Bluetooth v5.3, IP68 rating, noise cancellation feature, gyroscope, and 6-axis accelerometer sensor, among others.

The Other Way Around
After going through the launch and multiple coverage, we would say there’s a lot that Layers will have to hurtle through when it comes to selling Layers Anarc Watch. For instance, the design looks similar to FireBoltt Commando aka the octagonal design. The assumption that a smartwatch at INR 6,999/- will have superior vitals monitoring seems dicey.
Of course, the actuals can be different but given the price tag, we expect some variance in the vitals compared to expensive smartwatches such as Apple Watch series, Samsung Galaxy Watch series among others. Also, the watch received much less reception from the tech community than expected. Again, we will have to wait for some time to get a clear picture on the same.
