Mivi, an Indian consumer electronics company mainly known for its audio products, is now preparing to expand its product portfolio by entering the smartphone market; we are calling it the Mivi Phone. The smartphone is confirmed to make its official debut in India at the end of next month. Well, that’s at least what the company has revealed so far in the latest tweet.
Although the company has not revealed any key details about the upcoming smartphone, we see the company’s move as an approach to go beyond true wireless earbuds, speakers, and other audio devices.
Mivi smartphone launch date and availability
As per Mivi’s latest tweet, the company has revealed four things only. Those things are an early first look at its design, green color option, launch date, and, finally, its availability. Let’s get to each part one by one.
First things first, the company’s official teaser and Flipkart page have clearly highlighted the phone in the green color option. Moreover, the teaser also focuses on a design with rounded corners and perhaps a flat display.
Mivi’s first smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on September 26, 2026. Following its release, the phone will be available for purchase through Flipkart, which confirms the device’s online channel.

Mivi expands beyond audio products
Similar to what we saw with Fire-Boltt and its expansion in the smartphone industry with the Boltt branding, Mivi seems to be following the same path, but it is yet to be determined if the brand positions its devices in the entry-level, mid-range, or upper mid-range segment.
