It is no mystery that Lenovo-owned Motorola is soon to present to the market, its premium mid-range offering 2017 edition of the Moto X. There has been quite a commotion about the device, and it has been widely discussed recently since we are approaching the official unveiling. Along the same line, today we get to see a leaked presentation of the phone, coming directly from China, in the form of a 9-second video. Although the video looks legit, on no grounds can we establish its genuineness. Nevertheless, unlike a few leaks from the past, this one does not appear to be dubious.

The alleged presentation of the Moto X 2017 shows us a roster of specifications that are rather tough to peruse, however, what can be derived is that the phone will supposedly sport a 5.5-inch display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 660 chipset, and a QuickCharge supported 3,800mAh battery. Apart from the specifications, the animated presentation also showcases the phone, which chooses to defy what previous leaks have established about the position of the dual-LED flash on the phone, suggesting that previous leaks might have been mistaken for other Motorola devices such as the G5 or the G5 Plus. Or maybe, something is dubious in nature here.

Apart from all that, the device might bring a full metal build featuring an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, a front fingerprint scanner, and a laser autofocus for the camera. Motorola is also said to integrate something termed as “AI integration”, which we have no insight of at this moment. However, we will keep you updated as and when more information emerges.
