Evan Blass Confirms OnePlus 5T With 18:9 Screen Launching in November

For weeks now we’ve been dealing with the various leaks and renders of the alleged OnePlus 5T, and we were not sure if it’s legit or not. A very famous tipster Evan Blass has become the latest source to confirm the rumours surrounding the leaks of OnePlus 5T.

Evan stated in his recent tweet that he had got some information from a source which is reliable according to him. He was informed about a OnePlus device which will be launched by the end of November and it’ll be sporting an 18:9 aspect ratio display.

Earlier this day, there was a leak on the popular benchmarking site known as AnTuTu. Reportedly, a OnePlus phone with the model number A5010 was spotted on AnTuTu. Since we’ve been looking at some leaks of the OnePlus 5T it has to be it. Looks like the upcoming flagship of OnePlus will the OnePlus 5T which the company might be naming as OnePlus 5 sports A5010 model.

Taking a look at the image of the benchmarking site we can see the specifications noted, the 5T will come with a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080p and with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset will be supported by Adreno 540 GPU.

Just like we expected, the 5T will pack in a mighty 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. According to reports from GizmoChina, a 6GB variant with 64GB internal storage might also be unveiled.

Taking a look at the camera, the OnePlus 5T will sport a dual camera setup with a 20-megapixel sensor on the back. Going by the leaks the camera setup might be similar to its predecessor. The fingerprint sensor might have been migrated towards the rear and its placed just above the OnePlus logo, this indicates that there won’t be any home button and hence the bezel-less design.

The OnePlus 5T will run on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. OnePlus is yet to officially announce the launch of 5T, so let’s take the leaks and renders lightly as of now and wait for the official announcement.
