The OnePlus 3 launch is around the corner, and all the leaks that are showing up, it seems that the more closer it gets, more mysteries are unveiled. Today, Carl Pei announces on the forums – the official launch date for the OnePlus 3, which will occur in a 360 degree VR manner on the OnePlus Loop VR app. This time, they also plan to open a virtual reality store along with the launch.
OnePlus finally decides to bid farewell to the invite system, which means, all the searching for invite hassle is all over. But, invites is something that helped OnePlus grow, it helped OnePlus to shine out from the market and cut down extra production costs as well. The invite system provided everyone with almost an equal chance to purchase the device unlike flash sales.

“The invite system has a special place in our history. When we first started out, our team was incredibly small. We had no idea what the demand of the OnePlus One would look like. We also weren’t fans of flash sales, where there’s a risk of everything selling out immediately, forcing fans to wait indefinitely. To address this, we designed the invite system to give customers a chance to purchase a phone as soon as we had inventory ready.
With the OnePlus 3, we’re officially saying goodbye to invites. It’s a big step for us as a company, our fans, and fellow tech enthusiasts. “
