While most people know that Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Realme are a part of BBK Electronics which is their parent company, there are many out there who are still not aware of the same. The best part about all these companies being together is that we don’t have the lack of innovation and testing because the technology is already present on Oppo and Vivo and then it comes to OnePlus and Realme devices. The downside, however, is that we do see a lot of rebranded phones from this group. If not rebranded, we can say inspired which feels like the right term to use in this scenario.

Most of the OnePlus devices are inspired by Oppo smartphones and the same goes for Realme which takes cues from Oppo or Vivo. Similarly, we are seeing that accessories are also being inspired by their parent companies. OnePlus recently released the OnePlus Buds which seem to be inspired by the Realme Buds and the Vivo TWS. Now, OnePlus is going to launch a smartwatch and the first presumption for anyone would be that it has to be inspired.

To add to that, Oppo Watch was recently launched in India starting at Rs. 14,990 which means that the plan is set. However, we have some very good news which is that the OnePlus Watch will not be a rebranded Oppo Watch. Because a new leak reveals that the OnePlus Watch has a rounded dial whereas the Oppo Watch is square and almost identical to Apple Watch in design.

This will come as a breath of fresh air for all those who don’t like to get an Android Wear watch which looks like a clone of the Apple Watch. We believe the OnePlus Watch will get launched alongside the OnePlus 8T which we reported about a few days earlier. It is said that the OnePlus 8T is coming at the end of this month or early next month so the OnePlus Watch is coming really soon.
