OPPO has officially confirmed the OPPO Find N5 global launch, scheduled for February 20, 2025. The event will be held in Singapore. This is the first time the company’s latest foldable flagship would be unveiled globally.
OPPO Find N5: A foldable without crease?
OPPO’s Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, recently unveiled teaser images where he showed how the internal screen of Find N5 contrasts with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 in particular, one of the main improvements being a no crease screen. And such a trend may help separate the Find N5 from all its competitors in favor of innovations on foldable smartphones by OPPO.
Titanium alloy hinge and unmatched durability
The most exciting feature, OPPO Find N5 will be the first foldable smartphone with a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge. This will make it both durable and long-lasting, while also making it the thinnest foldable device. Additionally, the Find N5 will become the world’s first IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 rated foldable flagship, which promises maximum water and dust resistance.
Performance and charging
Under the hood, the Find N5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. This makes the Find N5 one of the most powerful foldable devices currently available in the market. Additionally, OPPO Find series head Zhou Yibao confirmed that the phone will support 50W wireless charging.
The Find N5 includes 20 new materials in its 30 core parts. In fact, OPPO managed to cut the length of the motherboard down to 31.4% of that seen on previous-generation products, creating a product that is more portable yet less dense.
Color options and display
According to the teaser video, the Find N5 will be available in Misty White and Cosmic Black, both featuring a sleek glass finish. The Twilight Purple variant, which sports a leather back cover, was shown in early teasers but is absent from the global marketing materials.
The device is going to sport an 8.12-inch flat foldable display and offer a seamless user experience. The Find N5 will have a 50MP triple-camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens to allow more significant zoom capabilities.
Battery and charging
OPPO continues to focus on the battery life of its devices. The Find N5 is tipped to be fueled by a 5,700mAh battery and will support up to 80W wired fast charging. It will ensure prolonged usage and faster replenishment of power, ideal for professionals and content creators.

OPPO Find N5 global launch event and pre-orders
Pre-orders for the OPPO Find N5 have already begun in Singapore. Customers who pre-order will receive an OPPO Pen (worth SG$159) as a complimentary gift. The official global launch event is set to begin on February 20 at 7 PM SGT (4:30 PM IST), where OPPO is expected to showcase all the new features in detail.
