Chinese smartphone maker debuted two smartphones in the F-series i.e. F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G. Almost the same in terms of design and specifications except for a few details in battery and chipsets, here’s everything you need to know about it. Also, Oppo launched its charismatic Oppo Band Style with the F-series launch as well.
Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G Specifications
Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G is the top tier smartphone in the F19 series and packs in a giant 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel with a 60Hz refresh rate on-board. The device has a front punch-hole cut-out on the top-right corner that houses a 16MP shooter and the entire display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for uber protection against falls. As it is an AMOLED panel, Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G sports an under-the-display fingerprint scanner.
Next up, F19 Pro+ 5G sports a quad-camera setup at the back arranged in a rectangular camera bump. OmniVision’s OV48B 48MP takes hails as the primary sensor while there are an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules for macro and depth sensor. The AI-powered quad-camera camera sports various intuitive modes like Dual View video, Ultra Night Video, and so on.
Proceeding further, the device is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor under the hood with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage tech. There’s Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 OS under the hood as well. Above all, the device supports a 5G network that adds to its USP. Talking about the battery, F19 Pro+ 5G sports a giant 4,310 mAh battery with 50W Flash charging that should juice up the battery well under half an hour if we aren’t wrong.
Finally, talking about the pricing, Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G commences at INR 25,990/- for its 8+128GB trim and there’s no other storage configuration available with it. The device goes on sale starting March 17 in India.
Oppo F19 Pro Specifications
Apparently, Oppo F19 Pro is almost identical to the F19 Pro+ 5G except for the chipset it houses and the battery specs. The device does have the same display and the same camera setup but it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P95 SoC which is a sure shot downgrade from Dimensity 800U used in Pro+ 5G. The device does offer up to 256GB of storage configuration which is a good thing.
F19 Pro houses a large 4,500 mAh battery under the hood and comes with a slower 30W charging speed when compared to the 50W speed supplied by its elder brother. Talking about the pricing, the F19 Pro commences at INR 21,490/- for its 8/128GB trim while the higher 8/256GB trim goes up for sale at INR 23,490/-. It is now up for its first sale today on March 17.
Oppo Band Style
Band Style from Oppo made it to China last year in June, however, it is only now that it has made it to India. It packs in a 1.1” AMOLED display with 40 clock face options to choose from. It is a fitness tracker that comes with a unique look thanks to a sleek metal ring that wraps across the band.
Check out 12 activity modes with Oppo Band Style and yes, it is water resistance to up to 50 meters in depth i.e. great for swimming purposes. There’s a SpO2 tracker on-board that measures and shows the oxygen saturation per second. There’s no NFC unlike its Chinese counterpart but the rest all remains almost the same.
Priced at INR 2,999 for vanilla and black color variants, the Oppo Band Style is up for sale now with early birds getting a discount of INR 200 until March 23.
