Oppo Pad Launched: SD870, Dolby Atmos & Superb Built Quality

After launching the all-expansive Oppo Find X5 Series, Oppo introduced its first-ever tablet named Oppo Pad with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The tablet looks polished thanks to its premium build quality and more. It also comes with an optional Oppo Pencil stylus that you can go for. Here’s more about the Oppo Pad launched in China.

The Oppo Pad arrives in a purple and a black color variant whereas there’s a silver hue-inspired limited “Artist Edition” available too. The base variant has a 6+128GB storage at CNY2,299 ($363) whereas the top-of-the-line 8GB+256GB fetches a price tag of CNY 2,999 (or $474). The tab will go on sale on March 3 in China although as always, its availability outside China remains a query.

There’s an optional Oppo Pencil stylus available with Oppo Pad at CNY 499 ($79) whereas the optional keyboard case will fetch you at CNY 399 (or $63).

The Oppo Pad is powered by an 11-inch LTPS LCD 2560×1600 pixels panel boosting a 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to slender and symmetrical bezels and HDR10 content, the display looks good. There’s an 8MP shooter at the front while there’s a 13MP single rear camera setup.

Moving on, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood with 128/256GB storage and 6/8GB RAM. You have an 8,300 mAh battery under the hood that will keep it afloat for hours while a 33W charging tech speedily juices up the battery faster.

You also get an Android 11-powered ColorOS 12 out-of-the-box. You do get a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.

The Stylus with the Oppo Pad has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and lasts up to 13 hours on a full charge. The Pad does have a multi-screen collaboration feature among others to make it a good option among other tabs available in the market.
