Tech enthusiasts are set for another major event as Poco prepares to launch its new phones. Poco Pad will be launched alongside Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro on 23rd May in Dubai. This launch is a significant move for Poco since it is launching its first tablet in the market.

The Poco Pad has already created a lot of hype as it has been spotted on many certification sites like SDPPI Indonesia, TDRA UAE, IMDA Singapore, and so on suggesting a global launch. It might be a Redmi Pad Pro relabeled for the Malaysian market, with powerful hardware and software on the horizon.
People are eagerly waiting for Poco’s first tablet as it will be its first tablet and is expected to have a 12-inch display. A 1-inch IPS LCD with a non-stuttering 120Hz refresh rate to deliver fluid visuals and gameplay.
Users will be able to watch content in bright environments since its peak brightness is 600 nits. The back and frame of the tablet are made of an aluminum alloy for a premium feel while the front is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance.
In terms of performance, the Poco Pad may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which should provide sufficient power for everyday use and work with multiple applications at once.

Poco Pad will run on Android 14 with a HyperOS skin from Poco on top and offers extra features and additional customization. Music lovers will enjoy the quad-speaker system coupled with Dolby Atmos technology for rich sound.
In terms of the camera, it might have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED flash for taking basic photos. But it is rumored to be a Wi-Fi only tablet that lacks cellular network support.
For productivity, the Poco Pad could work with additional accessories such as a stylus and a keyboard. Its pricing is yet to be revealed, however, taking into account its possible specs and association with Redmi Pad Pro, it is likely to be a mid-range tablet with an affordable price tag.
