Another smartphone from Poco is here. I am talking about the newly available Poco M3 Pro 5G and it has a lot to offer including 5G coverage, a powerful chipset, and a 90Hz screen. Here’s more about it.
The newly released Poco M3 Pro 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood which has two Cortex-A76 cores. The device reaches a whopping 2.77Gbps of download speeds. It has a Mali G57 GPU along with it that offers greater performance in terms of graphics processing while the newer cores in the CPU adds a much-needed boost to the performance as well.
Poco M3 Pro 5G packs in a giant 6.5-inch 1080p+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. You can still have 30/50/60 fps as well with a max of 90Hz. The display lights up at 400 nits and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top for protection against falls and scratches.
Moving on, the phone has a triple rear camera setup in a rectangular camera bump. The primary cam has a 48MP sensor along with two 2MP sensors for macro and depth. The front, on the other hand, has an 8MP selfie shooter that users can utilize for facial recognition, video calling, and taking selfies.
The device gets its power from a giant 5,000 mAh battery which is a bit of a letdown given the fact that the regular M3 got a 6,000 mAh battery. The charging speed is the same i.e. 18W charging and the retail box has a 22.5W charging brick with it. However, the chipset and the 90Hz both will surely affect the backup of the battery considerably.
Poco M3 Pro 5G is available in several trims. You can go for LPDDR4X RAM at 4GB or 6GB while the storage options available with the device are 64MP and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Other details include Android 11-backed MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.
According to the pricing, the Poco M3 Pro 5G goes on sale on Amazon tomorrow and the price tag for the 4+64GB variant is €180 while the higher 6GB+128GB version is available at €200. The early bird price tags on both the variants are €159 and €179 respectively.
