In March, Realme released Realme GT Neo shortly after the original Realme GT arrived. Turns out the Chinese smartphone maker is already gearing up for a follow-up dubbed as Realme GT Neo2. The folks at Digit and OnLeaks have got their hands on Realme GT Neo2 renders and specifications that you can check out here.

Realme GT Neo2 Renders & Specifications

The upcoming Realme GT Neo2 is expected to arrive with a flat 6.62-inch AMOLED panel with a punch-hole cut-out on the left corner. The display size is humongous and the largest in the GT series. Furthermore, it will get an HRR of 120Hz and a 1080p+ resolution.

Moving on, the device will get its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC which is an underpowered variant compared to Snapdragon 888 (on GT) but it does compete against MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC that was seen on Realme GT Neo earlier this year. Also, the SD870 has made its way on the pricier Realme GT Explorer Master that was released a few weeks ago.

The storage is at 128GB for the base variant with 8GB RAM and it goes without saying, there will be other configurations available too. The phone will arrive with Android 11-flavored Realme UI 2.0 and should get Android 12 and Android 13 in the following years as well.

About the optics, we have a splendid triple rear camera setup at the back that houses a 64MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Note that this is the usual setup that all GT smartphones offer so it is estimated that GT Neo2 won’t be any different in this department. The fourth sensor is a 16MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cut-out and that’s it.

Realme GT Neo2 is likely to be powered by a hefty 5,000 mAh battery under the hood along with fast charging although it is believed that the charging speed won’t go near 65W.

As the renders show, the phone does look premium at large. It has a giant edge-to-edge display albeit tiny bezels around it. The punch-hole camera is small as well without any thicker bezels around it. The frame is curved to enhanced grip. The back looks posh and flat with a subtle camera bump housing the rear camera setup and nothing too lousy, to be honest.

About the ports, a USB-C port is located at the bottom along with a primary mic, and a loudspeaker grille. The right side has a power button while the left side has a volume rocker.

Information regarding its release date as well as confirmed specifications remain under wrap at the time of writing this. Stay tuned on True-Tech to know more.
