  • Nubia has launched the all-powerful RedMagic 11 Pro globally after its previous Chinese launch.
  • The device brings Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on-board at $699 along with an active cooling system on-board.
  • It's specs sheet includes a IP68 rating, an under-display front camera, 50MP dual camera setup among others.

RedMagic 11 Pro has officially marked its global launch earlier today. Launched as a gaming phone with some industry-first specs, such as liquid cooling. Well, let’s take a dive into what it brings on board. Also, it is not the same as the RedMagic 11 Pro+ that was recently launched in China, but it is actually based on the Chinese RedMagic 11 Pro.

RedMagic 11 Pro launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 at $699

Well, well, well, we now have RedMagic 11 Pro arrive with a full-fledged global launch with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC under the hood. The phone comes just in time as the OnePlus 15 was recently launched, carrying the same flagship chipset alongside the Xiaomi 17 Pro series, while iQOO 15 and other flagship phones are awaiting their launch this month.

The latest chipset, clocked at a whopping 4.6GHz CPU, offers 37% faster NPU performance. It is paired with 12GB/16GB/24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

RedMagic 11 Pro arrives with a 7,500mAh battery under the hood compared to 8,000mAh on-board its Chinese variant. While a slightly smaller battery won’t matter much, the global variant also comes with a lower 80W wired charging tech (down from 120W). Luckily, the 80W wireless charging remains untouched.

The flagship gaming-oriented phone packs in a 6.85” AMOLED panel boasting a resolution of 2,688 × 1,216 pixels plus a 144Hz refresh rate and rocks a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The makers are using a 16MP front-facing camera that has found its position under the display, eliminating any punch-hole or notches altogether. A 50MP primary plus 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor completes its dual rear camera setup.

RedMagic 11 Pro won’t let heat throttle the performance thanks to a state-of-the-art active cooling system on-board called AquaCore. It includes liquid cooling with vapor chambers on-board with a fan that reaches 24,000 RPM. That should keep the device steadily cool even when subjected to heavy usage.
