After the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 made their debut on August 10, Samsung is heading towards its next major launch early next year and it will be for the Galaxy S23 series. It comprises at least three models – Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. According to the latest update, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to bring onboard a 200MP primary snapper at the back and an updated fingerprint sensor for excellent precision and accuracy at all times. Read the story ahead to know more about it.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra likely to feature better FPS
According to the reports that quoted Alvin, a tipster on Twitter, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to bring onboard the Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanning sensor. For the unversed, it is the same sensor found on the flagship cadre Vivo X80 Pro and iQOO 9 Pro. Having a larger fingerprint scanning sensor translates into better accuracy and speed which is homogenous with the two models aforementioned.
Samsung Galaxy S23 could get a 200MP sensor too
Based on the South Korean publication Korea IT News, the Ultra variant in the Galaxy S23 series is likely to bring onboard a 200MP snapper. For context, the Galaxy S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra packs in 108MP snapper which means by the time Galaxy S23 Ultra rolls out, the tech will be three years older. However, the switch can change the game
giving the S23 Ultra a much-anticipated boost in terms of photography finesse.
Samsung has reportedly asked its camera partners to produce 200MP units for the upcoming launch. Although Samsung is rumored to get the 200MP sensor onboard, both Xiaomi and Motorola are working towards their devices with a 200MP sensor to snag the “World’s first” title on their names. It remains to be seen which OEM makes it to the world first.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 series sometime in January or February 2023 when it will release the three obvious models. The Galaxy S23 FE might follow in a bit later as usual.
