After wrapping up the latest foldable launches, Samsung is ultimately preparing its forthcoming phone, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, slated to arrive in the market next. Recently, the phone got a green signal from an FCC listing revealing key details about the phone and how it could be different from its predecessor and slightly more expensive. Samsung Galaxy S26 FE FCC filing reveals key hardware details
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE made its appearance on the FCC ahead of its launch sometime next month. The listing suggests the phone could be using an Exynos chipset on-board plus an Exynos modem. However, there’s a catch. The listing mentions the Galaxy S26 FE using a Samsung LSI, which is a reference to its Exynos chipset; however, the Wi-Fi chip on-board is from Qualcomm. This is a departure from last year’s S25 FE, which was all Exynos.
Although the Galaxy S26 FE FCC listing doesn’t reveal it, we are hoping the phone gets an Exynos 2600 SoC on-board. This would mean an upgrade over last year’s Exynos 2500 on the S25 FE. Other features include NFC, Wi-Fi 6, wireless charging, satellite connectivity, and a 45W fast charging tech, much of which has already been seen on the predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE images have been spotted online as well, revealing the vertically oval-shaped (or pill-shaped) camera bump housing three individual camera sensors. This is different from the Galaxy S25 FE, where there was no camera bump at all. However, I would take it with a pinch of salt at the moment as we are still at least a month away from the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launch.
A previous report by Android Authority dug deeper into the camera specs on-board. This includes a 50MP primary Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 snapper with OIS (same as S25 FE), plus an 8MP OmniVision OV0841 with 3x optical zoom and OIS. There are two 12MP snappers, i.e., a 12MP Sony IMX825 and a 12MP GC12A2 on-board, taking their slots as a tertiary and a selfie cam (or vice versa) on the S26 FE.
