Samsung had released foldable display prototypes sometime last year. Many were curious and trying to understand what the brand is up to. If a recent report from Leakster is to be believed then this is the preparation to launch the Samsung Foldable Phones sometime next year.
It’s speculated that the phone which is popularly referred to as “Project Valley” could be launched by January 2016. Speculations claim that the device will come with a dual display setup, and would offer a larger display along the insides. This would be folded when the shells are closed. It’s said that the product will be launched in two versions; both will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC will be launched in the mid range, while the other powered by Snapdragon 820 processor will be launched for the high-end target audience.
Samsung is the first one to receive the new Qualcomm flagship processor samples, which it will allegedly be using in the Galaxy S7 phones. Of course, the commercialization of these foldable phones will start only in 2016. A patent of the Project Valley dual screen foldable phones will be seen sometime this year.
So, are you looking forward to Samsung foldable phones?
