Samsung had a great Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event on August 10 where it launched a handful of devices including the two most-awaited foldable devices – Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Z Fold4 5G. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G is available at a price tag of $999 and the shipping for the units begins to ship on August 26th. You can try your hands between Blue, Bora Purple, Pink Gold, and Graphite color variants, or go for Bespoke Edition which you can design on Samsung’s website mixing and matching up to 75 unique combinations of colors at your disposal.

Well, the overall design for the Galaxy Z Flip4 looks well elegant. The back glass panel now gets a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top for extreme protection against any falls while the front has Samsung’s UTG for protection while the frame is still Armor Aluminum like the previous iterations. The phone has dimensions of 84.9×71.9×17.1mm when it is closed while it becomes more like a regular-sized 165.2×71.9×6.9mm device when you unfold it and yes, with dim-looking creases so that’s not a problem.

The primary one that folds measures 6.7” diagonally and uses a Dynamic LTPO AMOLED FHD+ panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that can zoom anywhere between 1Hz to 120Hz. For the uninitiated, this is the same as last year’s. Although the display size remains the same, the reduced bezels do add a perspective of a larger display. You get a 22:9 aspect ratio and have a 10MP selfie shooter. The back cover has a 1.9” AMOLED 260×512 pixels resolution with a tonne of customization options including themes and custom panels that goes well with the main UI. You can leverage the cover display for replies and quick settings for a lot more.

On the software end, the Flip4 5G runs on Android 12-powered OneUI 4.1 on top of it with optimized UX including the updated FlexCam. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as it was previously leaked. We get 8GB RAM along with three internal storage options consisting of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
