Threads experience just went through the roof with the latest update and extension of mute filters. Now you have more authority over what you wish to see on your remaining feed, search results, profiles, and other people’s replies to the posts.
Threads Empower Users with Enhanced Mute Filters
No more times of uninvited words crowding your feed line. The latest Hidden Words feature enables you to create a private list of your own words, phrases, or emojis which will be muted. Instagram then automatically hides any content with that theme, thereby keeping your feed free of any negative content.
But that’s not all.
1. Control Who Can Quote You: Out with annoying quotation marks! And then you’ll have endless possibilities to choose who can quote your posts leaving the bullies and negative guys behind you.
2. Mute Notifications on Specific Posts: With AI-powered voice assistants, say goodbye to distracting notification streams. This bell feature lets you shut off notifications from particular posts but remain up-to-date on all your other activities.
A subset of users is being invited for testing whilst the Hidden Words feature is already available to all. However, the new features are in development and may not yet be available for all.
