Vivo Y51 just got a revamp. In December 2015, the phone arrived with a 5” display, a Snapdragon 410 SoC, and a 2,350 mAh battery. Cut to now, the new Vivo Y51 arrives with a mid-range Snapdragon 665 SoC and comes pre-loaded with Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10. The chipset has eight cores including 4×2.0GHz Kryo 260 Gold high-performance and 4×1.8GHz Kryo 260 Silver power-efficient cores. It is flanked with an Adreno 610 SoC that keeps an eye on its graphics processing. The phone has a single 4GB+128GB of storage configuration.

Vivo announced the Vivo Y51 with a large 6.38” FHD+ Ace AMOLED panel with a waterdrop-shaped notch on top. The display has a 1080×2340 pixels resolution with 404 PPI density. The bezels are tiny and on point keeping the phone segment in mind. The notch houses a 16MP selfie shooter. Flip the phone and you’ll see the popular diamond-shaped rear camera setup that was earlier introduced with Vivo S1 Pro in India.
