Xiaomi cooks up new devices now and then. The latest that will probably hit the market will be Xiaomi Watch S4 as it was exclusively spotted by the folks at GizmoChina in an IMEI database. With no information associated with it, we are all left with what a few bits and pieces we heard about a speculated upcoming Xiaomi Watch would bring so here we are.
Xiaomi Watch S4 to tag along flagship 15 Series Smartphones
Xiaomi launched the Watch S3 last October with the Xiaomi 14 series and has been brewing grounds for its successor. Dubbed the Xiaomi Watch S4, the upcoming watch likely sports model number M2424W1 as it was spotted on the IMEI database. Just like its predecessor, this one will have e-SIM support as well.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing much we know about the upcoming smartwatch. We have heard that there’s a Xiaomi watch in the works with a beefy 586mAh battery. It isn’t what the S3 came out with so we are hoping it was for the upcoming Xiaomi Watch S4 as it prepares its debut this October alongside Xiaomi 15 series.
According to a previous leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming watch may have a round OLED display and probably 10W fast charging in the mix as well. HyperOS 2.0 could arrive as the software out-of-the-box offering a fluid and user-friendly experience although we will have to wait to confirm.
As aforementioned, the Xiaomi Watch S4 could arrive with the Xiaomi 15 Series citing the previous timeline. Thus, expect it to come in mid-October with the first-ever Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered device in the world although the latter has a limited launch in China followed by a global launch a few months later.
It is unlikely that the Xiaomi Watch S4 will have a standalone launch event so tagging along Xiaomi 15 series seems like an appropriate speculation.
