Xiaomi to Launch Mi 11 on 28th December in China

Xiaomi Mi lineup is a flagship smartphone lineup with the brand’s most anticipated specs of the year. Xiaomi tries to implement the latest and best hardware and software possible in their Mi smartphones. Earlier this in Qualcomm Tech Summit, Xiaomi announced the collaboration with Xiaomi for their Snapdragon 888 SoC, and in a few renders, Xiaomi claimed that Mi 11 series will be the first smartphone with the latest Snapdragon. Earlier today we shared the Geekbench report of the upcoming Mi 11 and now Xiaomi shared the official banner with the launch date of the smartphone on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

So far, we’ve seen plenty of leaks of the Xiaomi Mi 11 like the hands-on images, case renders, etc and now, Xiaomi officially announced the launch date. On its Weibo age, the corporate announced that the Mi 11 is launching on the 28th of December which suggests when it launches, it’ll be the World’s first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 888.

According to the poster, the smartphone will be launched on 28th December at 7:30 PM (local time). The corporate didn’t share any information on the specs of the Mi 11 lineup. With around every week remaining for the launch, it appears that the corporate may soon rollout official renders or confirm some features within the next few days.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is predicted to arrive in two variants – a vanilla option for everybody that desires a reasonable flagship and a professional version with all the newest technology. In terms of specs, we are getting to see a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, and a 12MP telephoto module within the Pro.

We have already seen Mi 11 in various leaks, rumors, and benchmarking sites named as Xiaomi M2011K2C. It’s worth noting that this is often an equivalent model number that’s listed on 3C and China’s network certification website.

The device will be powered by the latest flagship from Qualcomm, i.e., Snapdragon 888 SoC along with the Adreno 660 GPU. The device comes with 12 GB of RAM and in fact, the device will be available for different RAM and storage configurations. Geekbench listing didn’t reveal much apart from the aforementioned information. It is worth noting that the high-end variant of the Mi 11 will likely accompany 512 GB of storage onboard.

Other than these, we will experience the new 108-megapixel camera housing at the rear side smartphone. The device is fueled by a 4,780mAh rated battery which can be charged via a 55-watt fast charger. The device runs Android 11 out of the box on top of Xiaomi’s own MIUI 12.
