Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 10T 5G in India. Now, it looks like the company is also gearing up for another event later this month. Not so long ago, tipster Ishan Agarwal claimed that the Chinese tech giant will be announcing new Notebooks in the country at the end of July. While Xiaomi India is yet to confirm this, a new report (91mobiles) now confirms that the company will indeed launch the Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro Ultra 15.6 in the country soon. While we do not have the exact details of these Notebooks, the report suggests that these could be the rebranded Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro X laptops that are launched in China recently.

Mi Notebook Pro 14 Specifications

The Mi Notebook Pro 14 will boast a 14-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The aspect ratio of this display is 16:10 and the display has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display can get bright enough and has a peak brightness of 600 nits. Also, the display covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and delta E values lower than 1.5. All this is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and the device is certified by TUV Rhineland.

As for the internals, the Pro 14 features Intel Tiger Lake 11th generation processor. Buyers will be able to choose between Core i7-11370H and Core i5-11300H. The storage here is 512 GB and consists of 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. NVIDIA GeForce MX450 handles the graphic duties here. Meaning, the device will allow you for some light gaming. The notebook also supports WiFi 6 and comes with a Thunderbolt 4.0 port. Other ports here include a DP port, 3.5mm jack for audio. It is worth noting that the company includes USB-C to HDMI ports in the box itself. The fingerprint sensor is embedded inside the power key. All this is backed by a 56Wh battery that is claimed to get up to 12 hours of usage. The Mi Notebook Pro 14 starts at CNY 5299 (roughly 61,000 INR or $819)

Mi Notebook Pro Ultra 15.6 Specifications

As mentioned earlier, Mi Notebook Pro Ultra 15.6 is expected to be the rebranded version of Mi Notebook Pro X. The device features a 15.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3456 x 2160, meaning this is a 3.5K display. But, do note that the display refresh rate is maxed out at 60Hz here. I don’t really understand why Xiaomi has to go with a 60Hz display rather than the 120Hz one found on the Mi Notebook Pro 14. I mean, this a much pricier variant and also claimed to a “gaming laptop”. Moving on, the display covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and is VESA DisplayHDR 500 certified.

Under the hood, just like the Pro 14, the Mi Notebook Pro Ultra 15.6 features Intel Tiger Lake 11th generation processor. Buyers will be able to choose between Core i7-11370H and Core i5-11300H. The RAM here is bumped from 16GB to 32GB and comes with 1TB of internal storage as well. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti handles the graphic duties here. The Pro Ultra 15.6 also features WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. As for the ports, you get Thunderbolt 4.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, two Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is embedded inside the power key and all this is backed by an 80Wh battery. The laptop starts at CNY 8499 (roughly 98,000 INR or $1314)
