The most wanted Redmi Note 10 series is here. Xiaomi has been teasing the smartphone series for a long time. Xiaomi launched three different models for the first time in one go, and the first time at least in the Note series. The Redmi Note series include Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The Redmi Note 10 is a pocket-friendly smartphone with very basic as well as great features at the same time, whereas the Note 10 Pro and Pro Max are high-end ( not flagship) smartphones with a ton of exciting features.

The first I(we) want to convey is that Xiaomi has actually done a great job with Redmi Note 10 series. Xiaomi has become the first brand to include a Super AMOLED display in this price range (starts at 11,999 INR). Other OEMs too implemented AMOLED displays on a mid-range smartphone but none competes for this price range. Imagine a smartphone with one of the best displays in such an affordable price range of 11,999 INR.

Redmi Note 10 Specifications and Price

The Redmi Note 10 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that comes in a screen resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is a normal 60 Hz panel but according to Xiaomi, it has a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The display has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The company could have gone with the under-display fingerprint sensor but instead choose the side-mounted fingerprint sensor placed on the sleep/wake button.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC, paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage (UFS 2.2). The Snapdragon 678 is an octa-core (2x Kryo 460 Gold (Cortex-A76) @2.2GHz, 6x Kryo 460 Silver (Cortex-A55) @1.7GHz) SoC, that comes with Adreno 612 GPU for better graphical performance.

In the camera department, the smartphone houses a quad-camera setup at the rear and a single punch-hole housing for the selfie camera. The rear quad-camera setup includes a primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a tertiary 2-megapixel macro sensor, and finally a 2-megapixel depth effect sensor. At the front, it features a 13-megapixel selfies shooter.

The Redmi Note 10 is fueled by a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged using the 33-watt charging adapter included in the box. The smartphone will run on MIUI 12.X on top of Android 11 (most probably). Other than that, it has all the basic connectivity options and sensors, like Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, etc.

Now, speaking of the price, the Redmi Note 10 comes in two different variants and three color options. The base 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant comes with a price tag of 11,999 INR, whereas the top 6 GB RAM and 128 GB Storage variant will be available for 13,999 INR. The color options include Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black. The smartphones will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retail partners from Tuesday, March 16.
