Apple has invited media for its upcoming special launch event on September 12 but yet, there wasn’t any confirmation on what the upcoming iPhone models will be called. But you surely don’t have to wait more because 9to5Mac recently updated the name for 5.8-inch OLED iPhone, the successor to 2017 iPhone X which broke many records and got many firsts right into the market.

As per the report, the 5.8-inch OLED iPhone will be called as iPhone XS and it was formerly speculated although the moniker soon faded the name is official now and it is gonna stay intact until the 2018 iPhone model is out of phase. Now, we are left with two other models that need to be named. Since the bigger 6.5-inch OLED iPhone is the plus-sized model based on iPhone X (2017), a moniker has been coined i.e. iPhone XS Plus and it seems to be in-line with the rumors.

Further, a rendered image showing the two OLED iPhones stacked on top of another has been leaked as well and guess what, the side edges are golden colored hinting towards a gold variant of the two iPhones.

About the specs, all the three iPhone models will have an Apple A12 bionic chipset with 4GB RAM (OLED variants) and 3GB RAM (6.1” LCD variant). The iPhones will be available in 64/256/512GB internal storage where the maximum storage of 512GB is the first time Apple has opted for such a variant. Watch out this space for the September 12 launch that we will cover in detail.
