Looks like you’ll have to wait a little more for Samsung One UI 7 as the update has been delayed till early 2025. The information comes officially from Samsung during a recent developer conference, according to which, the next iteration based on Android 15 will be out in 2025 with the beta versions starting by the end of this year.

You’ll Have to Wait Until 2025 to Get Samsung One UI 7

For the unversed, Google has already released Android 15 Adaptive Open Source Project (AOSP) which means smartphone makers can now use the latest Android OS to build their custom UIs.

For anyone who has been waiting impatiently for Samsung to release the next Samsung One UI 7, this might seem like a discouraging beat since the official rollout will begin with the Galaxy S25 series to launch in January next year.

Presumably, Samsung launches a new One UI iteration by Q4 every year followed by Galaxy S-series getting a major incremental update. With this year’s schedule in mind, it seems Samsung users will have to wait for a few months to get their One UI 7 stable update.

For those willing to undergo beta preview, they should enroll with their compatible and eligible device once the beta previous program is announced in a few weeks’ time.
