Apple has announced the launch of Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription-based collection of professional creative apps aimed at video editors, musicians, designers, students, and content creators. The company unveiled the suite on Tuesday, presenting it as a creative tool that builds on Apple’s long-time focus on creative work across Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
What is Apple Creator Studio?
Apple Creator Studio is a bundled subscription that brings together Apple’s professional apps for video editing, music production, creative imaging, and visual productivity. The suite includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, and additional tools such as Motion, Compressor, and MainStage, along with premium features and content for Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and later Freeform.
“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, in an official statement.

Smarter video editing with Final Cut Pro
Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad receives several new intelligent features aimed at speeding up complex video workflows. These include Transcript Search, which allows users to find spoken content by typing keywords, and Visual Search, which helps locate specific objects or actions across footage.
Apple is also introducing Beat Detection, powered by an AI model from Logic Pro, enabling editors to sync cuts precisely to music. For iPad users, a new Montage Maker uses AI to automatically assemble highlight edits, with tools to adjust pacing, orientation, and framing for social media platforms.
Subscribers also get access to Motion for motion graphics and Compressor for advanced output and delivery settings.
New AI-powered music tools in Logic Pro
Logic Pro for Mac and iPad introduces new AI-assisted tools for music creation. Synth Player, part of Apple’s AI Session Player lineup, generates realistic synth and bass performances that adapt to a user’s musical direction. Another feature, Chord ID, analyzes audio or MIDI recordings to automatically create chord progressions.
Logic Pro also adds a refreshed Sound Library with Apple-designed, royalty-free loops and samples. On iPad, features like Quick Swipe Comping and natural language search in the Sound Browser expand professional-level music production on mobile devices.
Apple Creator Studio subscribers also gain access to MainStage, which turns a Mac into a live performance instrument or audio processor.
Pixelmator Pro arrives on iPad
For the first time, Pixelmator Pro is coming to iPad as part of Apple Creator Studio. The image editor has been redesigned for touch, with full Apple Pencil support and seamless workflows between Mac and iPad.
Apple highlighted features such as smart selection tools, vector and bitmap masks, Super Resolution image upscaling, and advanced brushes. Subscribers also receive access to new tools like Warp, allowing creative layer distortion and product mockups.
Productivity apps gain intelligent features
Apple Creator Studio also expands capabilities in Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform. Subscribers gain access to a new Content Hub with curated visuals, along with premium templates and themes.
New intelligent features include AI-powered image creation and editing, presentation draft generation in Keynote (currently in beta), and tools like Magic Fill in Numbers for automated data patterns. Apple confirmed that these productivity apps will remain free for all users, with premium features available to subscribers.
Pricing and availability
Apple Creator Studio will be available on the App Store starting Wednesday, January 28. Pricing in India is set at ₹399 (INR) per month or ₹3,999 (INR) per year, with a one-month free trial. College students and educators can subscribe at a special discounted price of ₹199 (INR) per month or ₹1,999 (INR) per year.
The subscription supports Family Sharing, allowing up to six users to access the included apps. Apple will also continue offering one-time purchase options for select professional apps on the Mac App Store.
