- iQOO 15T is coming to China with a Dimensity 9500 Monster SoC under the hood.
- It is a part of iQOO 15 series and will bring 200MP primary shooter, 100W charging speed for its 8,000mAh battery under the hood.
- It is unclear whether the phone arrives outside China as well.
The iQOO 15T is gearing up to set the stage on fire sometime this month. Turns out iQOO 15T has been spotted across various telecom authorities’ databases, revealing the look and feel this flagship phone will bring to the table, and here’s what you need to know.
iQOO 15T specs leak reveal a lot ahead of launch
According to a recent leak, we know that the phone will pick up a 6.82” OLED panel boasting 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The punch-hole cut-out at the front packs in a 16MP shooter. Turn the phone around, and you’ll be greeted with a 200MP primary shooter coupled with another 50MP shooter, completing its dual-rear camera setup housed in a squaricle camera bump.
As spotted on the leaked images, the phone uses a narrow-bezel punch-hole flat display at the front plus a raised camera bump housing its rear cameras, a flash, and branding on-board. The power button and volume rockers are on the right. Plus, we get curved edges on the sides.
Now, a Wibo-based leaker, Digital Chat Station (DCS), took it to the platform to discuss what actually powers the iQOO 15T. The phone has the first-ever Dimensity 9500 Monster version with a self-developed Q3 chip optimized for hardcore gaming. Although we don’t have any specifics regarding the benchmarks and performance, DCS points out how it can already run Genshin Impact as a light MOBA game. The iQOO 15T reportedly hit an average frame rate of 60.2fps on Genshin Impact for 30 minutes on extreme settings with a power consumption of 4.99W.
Getting back to the iQOO 15T specs leak, the phone is expected to arrive in multiple storage configurations such as 8+256GB, 12+256GB, 12+512GB, 16+256GB, and 16+512GB. Additionally, a 1TB variant could also be in the picture.
There’s also a massive 8,000mAh battery expected under the hood, flanked by 100W wired charging. This is quite much needed given the iQOO 15T will be a performance-oriented phone, and with a weak battery, you can’t unlock its optimum levels. There’s no wireless charging, although that could receive mixed reception.
With that said, even though the iQOO 15T is coming this month for sure, we don’t have any dates as of now. Also, we currently don’t confirm whether the phone will actually debut in China only or if it will come out to global regions.
