iQOO has officially confirmed the iQOO 15T launch date in China as May 20. The company announced that the device will become available for purchase on the same day as the launch event.

Ahead of the official unveiling, key details about the smartphone have surfaced through a China Telecom listing to provide an early look at the hardware and features expected on the device.

iQOO 15T design teased ahead of launch

Teaser images released by iQOO reveal the iQOO 15T in an Azure Cloud color option. The back panel carries a textured pattern inspired by clouds, while the overall design follows the styling seen on the iQOO 15 series. The company has also highlighted the phone’s transparent-inspired futuristic cabin design language and premium build quality.

Expected display specifications

The iQOO 15T is expected to feature a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display supplied by BOE. The panel is said to offer a 3168 × 1440 pixel resolution along with support for a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Leaked specifications suggest the display could support HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, and the DCI-P3 color range. The screen may reach up to 1800 nits of brightness in high-brightness mode, while peak brightness is tipped to go up to 4500 nits. The panel is also expected to support 2592Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort during low-light use.

MediaTek Dimensity 9500 expected to power device

Powering the smartphone is expected to be MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor built on a 3nm architecture. Graphics duties could be handled by the Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU.

The phone may launch in multiple configurations with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. It is also expected to ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6.0.

Camera setup and battery details

According to the telecom listing, the iQOO 15T could arrive with a dual rear camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization support. A 50MP ultra-wide camera is also expected to be included. On the front, the phone may feature a 16MP selfie camera.
