It has been just a few months since Turbo 5 Max’s debut; however, it seems like the successor, Redmi Turbo 5 Max, might be in the picture with a revamped design. Trust me, I liked it a lot, given it has that Pixel-like appearance. Read along to know more about the upcoming Turbo.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max leaks reveals a fresh new design
The folks at NokiaPowerUser posted images showing the Redmi Turbo 6 Max and its fresh new design. Gone is the left-aligned, vertically stacked camera bump, and in comes a much better-looking, Pixel-like camera bar that extends from the left to the right of the back panel. Design-wise, I am loving what Redmi is doing with the Turbo 6 Max, if at all this is legitimate.
Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the phone except some leaked specs. For instance, the predecessor, aka Turbo 5 Max, had a 9,000mAh battery, and we just got to know that the Turbo 6 Max will see an even larger 10,000mAh battery. That’s 1,000mAh larger, which should withstand a few more hours of battery life, if you are able to finish the battery juice in a single day at all.
Other speculated specs include a 2K resolution on its giant 7” flat-screen panel or a Dimensity 9500s SoC under the hood (as its predecessor), or it could see a yet-unreleased Dimensity 9600s SoC under the hood as well.
About the Redmi Turbo 6 Max launch, we don’t have a specific date yet, but we are certain the phone is still a few months away, give or take.

For context, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max brings a 6.83” AMOLED 120Hz panel with 447ppi density. There’s a Dimensity 9500s SoC with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone brings a beefy 9,000mAh battery paired with 100W wired charging, a stereo speaker setup, and a dual 50MP+8MP camera setup at the back with a 20MP selfie shooter.
