Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 is finally here. The latest to enter the flagship rugged smartwatch cadre, this stands at 51mm, the largest case size from Amazfit. Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 redefines rugged flagship smartwatches
Amazfit launched Active Max globally last month, and even before we could get our hands on the smartwatch, the company is back with yet another launch, aka the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2. As you can tell, it is a rugged smartwatch that can withstand natural forces with ease.
The new device comes with added navigation tools, including offline routing and point-of-interest search, without needing any network connection. The watch can be used to route offline up to 100km with features to record checkpoints, climb segmentations, and elevation profiles, to name a few.
On the specs front, we have 64GB of storage, which is technically double what its previous model offered. A hefty 870mAh battery pack is capable of reaching an endurance of 30 days on typical usage. The T-Rex Ultra 2 supports 180 workout types, including free diving, parkour, snorkeling, etc.
A bright LED flagship taken from the Garmin series illuminates when needed. It is nicely squeezed between the titanium alloy-made bezel and the 12:00 position on the clock. Being rugged in nature ensures the watch remains scratch-free, whether it is for adventures, exercises, or when calamities strike.

Talking about the pricing on board, we have the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2, which is a single variant priced at $549.99 available via Amazfit directly. We don’t see the smartwatch on Amazon yet, although it will be revealed soon. Ultra 2 is made for outdoor adventurers and athletes, keeping navigation, endurance, and ruggedness as its core capabilities.
