Lately, we’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of leaks and rumours of Nokia 9. HMD Global had unveiled their Android Flagship Nokia 8 in August with the dual camera setup. Nevertheless, the company looks like they have yet another high-end smartphone for their beloved consumers.
Following the rumours, Nokia 9 seems to be a very good competitor to the premium devices brought to us by Samsung and LG. It seems like some of the concept designers couldn’t stop themselves from making the schematics. After taking a look at the design it is pretty clear that there will be fewer bezels with more space to the screen. This design seems to be adapted by almost every smartphone company.
According to sources, Nokia 9 looks like a pro version of Nokia 8, but with some upgrades, with the concept being the bigger model of two.
Although we haven’t received any official confirmation from the company, the rumour has it the Nokia 9 is an upgrade to HMD’s first flagship. We expect the upcoming smartphone to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor but with extra RAM and maybe 128GB Storage. The Nokia 8 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, so we definitely can hope for a big upgrade this time, maybe 6GB RAM.
Nokia 9 might feature a bigger display as compared to its predecessor. The previous device has a 5.3-inch screen with quad high-definition (HD) pixel resolution. The device is expected to come with an iris scanner. On the back will be the same Carl Zeiss dual camera setup which we have seen on the Nokia 8.
For extra protection, the device will have IP68 certification of which will make it water and dust resistant.
The concept video by Concept Creator shows us that the buttons are on the sides. From what we have noticed, the buttons seem to be a tad bit larger than Nokia 8.
Nokia 9 will be flaunting a metallic design with a touch of copper red hue on the rear.
The Nokia 8 wasn’t able to compete with technology giants like Samsung, LG and their flagships, Galaxy S8, LG G6. Let’s see how Nokia 9 will perform.
