Consider a phone running on Android 8.1 Oreo featuring Snapdragon 835 processor in 2019 with a price tag of whopping $1,595. It’s the RED Hydrogen One we are talking about brought to you by RED which is a popular brand behind revolutionary RED cameras that are used in movies.
SO we are talking about the ridiculously same smartphone from 2017 that was perhaps delayed due to a number of reasons but apparently, RED is finally ready to ship a titanium version of RED Hydrogen One that was introduced back in 2017 and sales started in 2018. Since there are three trims of finishes, those who ordered titanium version back then received an aluminum version which has a retail price tag of $1,295 with a promise of getting their own titanium version upgrade on the house who if you are the one who ordered it, grab it now.
RED introduced Hydrogen One smartphone with the revolutionary 4-view holographic 5.7-inch QHD display which failed to attract masses and since it is not just us telling that this phone is ridiculously expensive and years behind the current Android Pie 9.0, Snapdragon 855 SoC, and other specs, it is still a royalty product with RED branding on it which is something you will have to shell out more to get.
As per the specs are concerned, this titanium version of Hydrogen One is the same as other trims but it gets a whopping 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and runs on Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor which was launched in 2017. The device boasts a massive 4,500 mAh battery and has a stocked version of Android Oreo 8.1 with little enhancements made by RED.
The device is available in Black finish with the 6/128GB configuration at $1,295 while a Shadow trim goes for the same price tag and finally, we have the expensively ‘expensive’ Titanium trim at $1,595 or roughly 1,11,650 INR.
