There isn’t much left that we need to know about the Galaxy Note 8. Thanks to previous leaks, almost all the specifications have already leaked, and we have a fair idea how the phone would look like. The new renders leaked, give us the best look yet of the Galaxy Note 8 from all its sides.
BGR got hold of these images that show all the details of the next Samsung flagship. In general terms, the renders are fairly in line with what we have seen or heard about the Galaxy Note 8 so far.
Starting with the design, the Note 8 will sport an overall design similar to the Galaxy S8 but with a few tweaks. According to these renders, and the ones that earlier leaked, the Note 8 will sport a boxy design, maybe to create that extra room for the stylus. Most of the other things, including the display, Bixby button, fingerprint scanner’s placement, and a few others, have been taken from the Galaxy S8’s design.
The large housing for dual cameras and the fingerprint scanner can also be seen confirming the previous leaks of the new camera system. The position of its fingerprint scanner is still odd, and the users will have to stretch their index fingers out to reach the scanner. Over at the front, the placement of the earpiece, front camera, iris scanner, and other necessary sensors are exactly like the Galaxy S8.
With these renders leaked, it is probably the first time we are having a clear look at the bottom of the Galaxy Note 8. It is important to know if Samsung will be omitting the headphone jack this time or not. We are glad to inform you that Samsung chose to retain the headphone jack, at least for now. Besides it, you can see the USB Type-C port, primary microphone, a bottom firing speaker, and the S-Pen. The top of the phone has nothing except the two antenna lines.
Samsung has scheduled an event for August 23 in New York where the company will be announcing the next Note device. The launch is going to be a special one for both the users and the company after the mishap with the Galaxy Note 7 from 2016.
You can expect the Galaxy Note 8 to come with a 6.3-inch QHD 18.5:9 AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor, 6GB of RAM, dual-camera setup of 12MP each, a 3300mAh battery, and an S-Pen, of course.
