After the release of the preview of Android M for the masses, we’ve had enough time to look through all the features, and even to see all the hidden features inside Android M. While you need to run the developer preview version of Android M to experience to try out most of the features, it looks like folks who are running a older version of Android are able to install the latest version of the Google Camera, which comes bundled in the preview version.

Google just released an update for their official Camera application, which brings us a few minor, but notables changes. It brings us a new focusing animation, which is a nice change from the older rotating circle, the latest version is Google Camera 2.5.

They also worked on the HDR mode, which is shooting the pictures much faster after the update. The HDR mode now also includes a nice confirmation sound when you shoot a picture. Google also added a little thumbnail of you most recent picture near the settings button. In the previous version of the Google Camera app you were able to select the quality of your Lens blur shots, with the option to choose for low or normal quality. So, all the pictures will be taken in the same quality and speed.
