We are just a few days away from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on August 5. The South Korean giant certainly has a huge list of devices that will be unveiled at the event and the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2 is one of them. However, for days we have heard that Fold 2 will not release at the event or it will make its launch in October and so on. Samsung Mobile posted a short 12-seconds video that states otherwise.

The short video teaser posted by Samsung Mobile’s official Twitter handle looks like the upcoming Unpacked event. It shows a similar drop falling to create something that was linked with Galaxy Note 20 series a few days ago. The bronze-colored droplet falls and transforms into a butterfly which for those who know or don’t know, it is the wallpaper that Samsung Galaxy Fold arrived with last year. Since Galaxy Fold 2 is a successor to the world’s first-ever commercially available foldable phone, it is quite clear that Galaxy Fold 2 will make its launch at the upcoming August 5 event.

Talking about the specifications, these aren’t the exact specifications but highly speculated by various sources including Ross Young who is the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants. It states that the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2 will likely sport a larger 7.59” main display and a 6.23” secondary display with 2213×1689 pixels and 2267×819 pixels resolution respectively. Moreover, the main display will be scaled up to 120Hz as the Galaxy S20 series launched in February had it as well.

Other specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor along with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone will pack in a hefty 4,365 mAh battery along with a 64MP triple camera setup which acts as both a front and rear camera module.
