After Vivo, another Chinese brand which goes by the name of Nubia is about to join the bezel-less party. Nubia is soon going to launch another smartphone to be known as Nubia Z18. If you’re not aware, Nubia is another smartphone brand which offers flagship level specs at an affordable price tag just like Xiaomi.
Nubia’s next smartphone Z18 is going to be a bezel-less smartphone which has already been leaked numerous times before. The brand has started sending out the press invitation with a Chinese text that translates to “Open the Future”. This clearly indicated the lack of bezels in the design of the smartphone.
Nubia Z18 leaked design, specs and price
To recall, the smartphone was leaked previously showing off its entire design schematics. As per the schematics, Nubia Z18 will have no bezels on the sides, and an Essential Phone style notch housing front camera. At the back, there is a horizontal dual camera setup, a rear fingerprint sensor. There is a mic, speaker and USB Type C at the bottom while volume and power button on the right edge.
The previous generation Nubia Z17s comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 90% meaning Z18 will hit the above 90 mark. If you look at the schematics closely, there is an almost non-existent bezel on the top while the sides have no bezel at all. This FullVision 3.0 display will sure hit the above 90 mark in screen ratio.
The smartphone might come with the glass back and aluminium frame just like its predecessor. Speaking of specifications, the smartphone is supposed to come with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC clocked at 2.8 GHz. The processor is paired with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB of onboard storage.
Talking about optics, the dual camera setup is present at the back having 24MP and 8MP sensors while on the front there is an 8MP selfie shooter. All of this runs on the latest version of Android 8.0 Oreo and a 3350 mAh battery capacity.
Since the brand has already started sending out invites, we can say that the launch event is near. The screen-to-body ratio and price tag will soon be uncovered and we’ll keep you guys updated no matter what.
