Xiaomi has added another smartphone in the Redmi 10 series i.e. Redmi 10 Prime. For the uninitiated, the device is simply a rebranded version of the Redmi 10 global variant launched just a few days ago. Here’s more about the Indian iteration of Redmi 10 Prime.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime Pricing and Availability

According to the official listing, Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime will be available for its first sale on September 7th. Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime Specifications

The device is uncannily similar to the global Redmi 10 with minor changes in the battery capacity and storage trims.

Per its specs sheet, the device packs in a 6.5-inch LCD FHD+ panel boasting a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is a punch-hole display housing an 8MP selfie camera. A quad-camera array is on the back that houses a primary 50MP cam (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and two auxiliary modules i.e. a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro module.

Moving on, the device comes paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM variant while the storage trims available are 64GB and 128GB. The device runs on Android 11 flavored MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box. Redmi 10 Prime in India gets a Helio G88 SoC under the hood paired alongside Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.

Redmi 10 Prime in India gets a beefier battery at 6,000 mAh which is 1,000 mAh larger than the global Redmi 10. Along with that, the device has an 18W charging speed with a USB-C port under the hood for charging purposes. The device comes paired with reverse charging capability too at a max 9W speed.
