Earlier this week, we ran a report about how the iPhone 12 Pro series could look like with an additional LiDAR sensor at the back of the device which means it will have four camera sensors while only the 3 cameras from last year will be able to take photos and videos. This also meant that the camera setup on the iPhone 12 Pro series would have a symmetrical look in a square module.
Now, it looks like the same source is back at it with another report. This leak is available to us from a Twitter user named Fudge who goes by the Twitter username of (@choco_bit). This user claims to have found a new document which reportedly reveals the look of iPhone 12 series from Apple.
As far as the documents are concerned, we can see that the phone in question has a smaller notch meaning that the previous iPhones are out of the question. So it definitely means that this might either be an iPhone 12 design or it could be someone at Apple reducing the notch of iPhone 11 series.
Also, the fact that the front is shown with the back that has a LiDAR sensor means that the claim this might be an iPhone 12 design becomes even firmer. We can also see that the design shows home-screen widgets and this is also a feature which we are expecting to see from iOS 14 later this year.
Now, we are obviously going to add here that Android has had home-screen widgets for as long as it has existed but iOS might get them this year and even that is not confirmed yet. However, the fact that iPadOS got home-screen widgets last year might mean that iOS 14 will also get them soon.
There is also a reason to believe the leaks from @choco_bit because they are claimed to be found inside the early iOS 14 build from the latest iPad Pro released earlier this month. Apple will announce iOS 14 at its WWDC developer conference in June this year which will be an online-only event for the first time due to the COVID-19 threat.
