Apple is highly speculated to hold its next-gen iPhone 14 series launch event on September 7th. Although the Cupertino-based giant didn’t confirm the launch date yet, this particular date is in all rage which means it could be true.

According to the report, there will be at least four iPhone 14 models at the launch event namely iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. There’s no mention of the iPhone 14 mini as it is likely scrapped for this series. However, according to Evan Blass, we could see as many as seven devices at the launch which might include the iPhone 14 mini as well, although take it with a pinch of salt.

If released on the said date, it will be the earliest Apple has released its iPhone series since 2016. Additionally, it seems like iPad Pro 11, iPad Pro 12.9, and iPad 10.2 might be included at the launch as well. Again, there’s another school of reports according to which, Apple will hold a separate launch for iPads and Macs something in October, and thus, this is why it is rushing into launching its iPhone series early.

It also goes around to show how Apple has managed to get enough stock for the launch given the supply chain constraints that were heightened especially after the China-Taiwan issue. In any case, the timeline says September 7 launch date followed by September 16 when the units will be available for shipping. It will give Apple enough time to get more pre-orders.

Another Apple analyst Mark Gurman of Bloomberg mentioned that the September 7 event will not just have iPhones as the primary launch but Apple Watch Series 8 and new Macs will be flanked at the launch too. In any case, we will have to wait for more updates to arrive, and given take we are barely two weeks away from the speculated launch, it won’t be much of a wait for sure.
