Apple is known to be releasing products in different parts of the world to celebrate their special occasions. The company is known to introduce some promotions or new products to celebrate China’s New Year.
Now, Apple has released a new version of its product to celebrate the Japanese New Year as well. As part of the promotion, Apple will provide gift cards to customers who buy their products on January 2 and 3, 2022.
But the first 20,000 customers who buy an iPhone will get limited edition AirTags from the company. The special thing about this AirTags is that they have an engraving of the tiger emoji in front.
And the reason behind it is that 2022 is the year of Tiger in Japan so Apple wants to celebrate that. While the AirTags are not put up for sale but will be given with an iPhone’s purchase, we believe that it will be very popular and people will line up to get their hands on these AirTags from Apple.
Because we believe people will keep this as a lucky charm and hope that the next year brings success and happiness to them. As per a report from 9to5Mac, this offer is limited to the “iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, or iPhone SE on January 2 or January 3 in Japan”.
Interestingly, this offer is not available on the iPhone 13 series which means Apple wants to reduce stocks of the older iPhones in the country. Talking about the gift card, Apple has decided to give gift cards worth different amounts based on the products.
So if you buy an iPhone 12 or 12 Mini or iPhone SE then the gift card will be worth 6,000 yen. For AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max, the gift card will be worth up to 9000 yen. For select Macs, Apple is offering a gift card worth up to 24,000 yen(close to $209 USD).
