One thing we are all excited about is the WWDC 2020 from Apple which is their annual developer conference taking place from June 22. This year, the event will be a virtual one meaning anyone and everyone can attend it and see what’s cooking at the company. The excitement gets even bigger because it will be the first developer conference of this year since Google I/O has been cancelled in totality for 2020. As for the plans from Apple regarding this year, we will see the iOS 14 reveal at this event along with the latest version of macOS and iPadOS as well.
However, the software is boring for some people and hardware is exciting but both of them are important. That being said, we will see hardware being announced at the WWDC 2020 this year and there is a possibility of lots of products being announced. For instance, there will be the AirTag launch which is a tag through which you can locate your Apple devices. Also, we will see AirPods Studio from the company which are its first pair of premium headphones possibly starting at $350 under the AirPods brand.
But some exciting reports coming in reveal that an iMac unveiling is on the card. Some reports mention that there will be a redesign to the iMac which will be the first time that Apple has redesigned its all-in-one desktop ever since launch. Jon Prosser revealed earlier that the iMac is ready to be announced but he does not know why there has been a delay. It is possible that Apple is waiting for the WWDC 2020 to announce their iMac redesign.
All reports point to the fact that iMac’s bezels will be drastically reduced and it will have an iPad Pro-like design meaning that symmetrical-but-minimal bezels on all four sides. It means that the chin might be gone from the new iMac and the front camera will be at the top along with the possibility of FaceID mechanism as well. It is said that the new iMac will have a T2 security chip as well as AMD Navi GPU on board for better graphical performance. From these details, we can say that the WWDC 2020 is going to be exciting and we can’t wait to see the keynote of the event on June 22 at 10 AM P.T.
