Features and performance

The leaked details from Blass cover many performance features. The earbuds are said to use Apple’s H1 chip, providing the same fast pairing and smooth connection with other Apple audio devices. They will reportedly have both Active Noise Cancelling and Transparency Mode, which will let users easily switch between blocking out sound and hearing their surroundings.

The earbuds are designed for durability with an IPX4 water and sweat-resistance rating, making them suitable for exercise and outdoor use. They are expected to have a total battery life of up to 30 hours, with each earbud offering about seven hours on a single charge. The earbuds will also include Adaptive EQ, which tunes the audio to your ears, and Personalized Spatial Audio, which creates an immersive, three-dimensional listening experience.

Apple will reportedly include four sizes of ear tips with the Powerbeats Fit, allowing for a more personalized and comfortable fit. The earbuds, however, will not have a heart-rate sensor. This feature is currently only available on the Powerbeats Pro 2, although it is rumored to be added to the upcoming AirPods Pro 3.

Launch expectations

Apple has confirmed the Powerbeats Fit will be released in fall 2025. As Apple’s “Awe Dropping” iPhone event is being held today, many believe the new earbuds will become available for purchase on Apple’s online store once the event is over and the store reopens.
