Apple is reportedly gearing up for its big Apple Spring Event 2025 next month and we couldn’t be more excited. A lot of products are rumored to debut at the spring event including the much-awaited iPhone SE4 aka the cheapest iPhone today. Well, it got some serious upgrades matching it up with the likes of iPhone 14s and iPhone 15s although let’s take it with a pinch of salt at the moment.
Then, we have the lineup of iPad 11 and iPad Air, there’s M4 MacBook air in the mix, and you also see an upgraded Apple HomePod make its appearance as well. The list is huge and we at True-Tech wanted to give you all the tidbits about it so here it is, your precap of all the rumored products making it to the Apple Spring Event 2025.
Apple iPhone SE 4
Unapologetically, the Apple iPhone SE 4 is one of the most-anticipated devices out there. Expected to be christened as iPhone 16E, the phone follows the footsteps of iPhone 14 thanks to a larger 6.1” display and a Face ID. Rumors suggest the phone will pick up camera systems from the iPhone 15 series meaning you can expect a splendid camera performance, excellent computational photography low-light photography, and more with your iPhone SE 4, assuming it comes around this year at least.
There have been countless rumors about the iPhone SE 4 including the latest one that suggests we will see a 48MP plus 12MP TrueDepth camera on-board. There are also reports suggesting iPhone SE 4 will see an OLED panel although the price tag on the device, expected to be lower than $500, might tell a different story so take it with a pinch of salt.
On the performance side, we see the phone doing the hard work with the Apple A17 Bionic chipset (or even A18 according to some reports). Call that something and we won’t deny it. You can learn more about the Apple iPhone SE 4, probably launching at the Apple Spring 2025 event soon.
M4 MacBook Air
Rumor has it that an M4-powered MacBook Air is in the works and will launch in the coming weeks, probably at the Apple Spring Event 2025. Unfortunately, the M4 MacBook Air design is likely to stay unchanged, the one you got in 2022.
Although we don’t know much about the offering, we do know that it is powered by M4 (duh!). The chipset mounted on other Mac devices has already showcased upwards of 25% better performance and that’s something we can expect with the M4 MacBook Air as well. The chipset has 10-core GPU and 10-core CPU and a minimum RAM configuration moved up from 8GB to 16GB.
M4 MacBook Air is expected to have a nano-texture display coating on top to minimize glare. It is likely to be an exclusive feature on the Air differentiating it from the MacBook Pro lineup. The upcoming MacBook Air will have a 12MP front cam with Center Stage for excellent video calls. Moreover, it will support two external displays and will have four Thunderbolt ports instead of three on the previous model.
iPad 11 and iPad Air
The next offering likely to be launched at the Apple Spring Event 2025 is the line-up of iPad 11 and iPad Air. It has been quite some time since the vanilla iPad was refreshed (the last was in 2022) and it is due for a refresh. The upcoming iPad 11 is likely to focus on an updated chipset and the improved performance that it will bring to the table. We are hoping for the A17 Pro to power the iPad 11 along with Apple Intelligence, 8GB of RAM, and a bunch of new colors. However, there won’t be any major design changes just in case.
There’s an upcoming iPad Pro in the works as well. In fact, this one will be powered Apple M5 line up silicon that translates to 25% better performance and almost equivalent power efficiency compared to the predecessor.
Moving on, we have iPad Air in the pipeline as well. The tab is likely to have codenames J607, J608, J637, and J638 as evident during a previous leak spotted by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. We might see two iPad Air showcased at the spring event – the Air 13 and Air 11, both will be powered by Apple M3 SoC.
Apple HomePod
A new HomePod is probably in the works and this time around, it will see a smart display on-board probably the size of a 6-inch or 7-inch in size. Moreover, it will have Apple Intelligence support giving it a substantial upgrade over the predecessor. We have also heard Apple could launch a few more devices that can be connected to the upcoming HomePod. It has been reportedly codenamed Pebble and will be heavily tied up with iOS 18.4 and iOS 19 once it arrives.
