Apple recently released a lot of their flagship products which include the latest iPhone 13 series as well as the iPad Pro and even Macbooks that have been changed from the ground up after a long time.
Now, we know that Apple will remain silent for at least the next few months because there is no new product for the company to release.
We expect the company to release a refreshed MacBook Air with the M2 chip sometime next year along with the launch of an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro as well.
The next iPhone from Apple, iPhone 14 series, will come around Spring next year but that does not mean that its leaks will not be seen this year.
Because the famous Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has revealed a few things about the next iPhone from Apple which will be the iPhone 14.
Kuo has revealed that the next iPhone from Apple will have a 48MP camera. And before you say that this is so 2019, Apple, as well as Google, are known to not ramp up the megapixel count of their cameras just for the sake of it.
Both these companies rely heavily on computational photography and manage to extract the best out of their camera hardware through software.
It is worth noting that these two companies also have the best camera phones right now, the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 6 Pro respectively.
However, Kuo reveals that the 48MP wide camera will only be on the iPhone 14 Pro models and not on the non-Pro models. Kuo also adds that he believes Apple will put a periscope lens on the iPhone 15 models.
Kuo says that the increase in the megapixel count will not only improve iPhone’s camera quality but also help Apple add to their “market share, revenue, and profit growth”.
While there is no mention of the iPhone 14’s design changes in this analysis report, it has earlier been revealed that the next iPhone will have a lot of exterior changes.
For example, it is believed that the iPhone 14 will have a punch-hole display and the notch will go away. Also, there might be an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Pro models.
In addition, we might also see a return of the iPhone 4-like design with flat edges and removal of box-like camera design in favor of a minimalistic camera design.
But we will have to wait and see how things pan out in the near future because we know that Apple, as well as other companies, are facing a supply shortage as well.
