Asus launched its latest gaming phone in India last month, the ROG Phone 3. The phone was announced in 2 storage variants, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, but only the former variant was made available for sale. Now, as per the latest announcement from Asus, the 12+256GB variant of the phone will also be up for sale starting August 21, exclusively on Flipkart.
ROG Phone 3 Specifications:
The ROG phone 3 is the first smartphone in India that comes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The processor has a clock speed of up to 3.1Ghz, and is paired with 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS3.1 internal storage. It comes equipped with a 6.59-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and 25ms touch latency. The display is HDR10+ certified and has a peak brightness of 1000nits.
The phone also sees an improvement in the camera department as compared to its predecessor. The ROG Phone 3 comes with a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. The phone can also shoot 8k videos at 30 frames per second. On the front side, it has a 24MP selfie camera.
The ROG Phone has a large 6000mAh battery, which supports 30W fast charging via 2 USB Type-C ports on the phone. Other specifications include WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, reverse wireless charging, dual front-facing speakers, etc.
