What to expect from the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra
One would expect the technical features of the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra to be very much like those of the ROG Phone 9. In much the same way that when the Zenfone 11 Ultra was compared side by side last year against the ROG Phone 9. 8.
Based on the pattern, the Zenfone 12 Ultra may feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 5,800mAh battery, a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, and comes with a IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Moreover, it would carry a storage capacity of up to 512GB paired with 16GB of RAM, and a triple camera setup of 50MP, 13MP, and 5MP sensor, and it will run on Android 15 operating system.
Software Update Concern
Keeping in mind that the upcoming device would offer advanced features, and providing software support for Asus would be beneficial in line with standard industry practices. However, we are constrained by the fact that the ROG Phone 9 only provides two years of Android updates.
Overall, the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra seems to shape up pretty well as an Android flagship model. Its head start in the game also forces others to get more serious with their campaigns. So, we shall be closely following the February 6th launch and bringing it all to you.
