Cyanogen is going to deliver their own apps and services with Cyanogen OS. Both company’s signed a agreement for that. Cyanogen OS will get the Office app, Outlook and OneNote delivered, this will happen later this year with a new update for all the devices running Cyanogen OS.
Both company’s pushed out the message on Thursday afternoon. In the agreement is stated that: The Bing services, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook and the Microsoft office app will be delivered to all the Cyanogen OS users. The company’s didn’t say about how much money this deal is. And because we already saw the Powered by Microsoft April fool from Cyanogen this year, the deal is a bit striking. And even when you don’t look to the April fool, before that there were some sources that suggested that an investment from Microsoft was going to happen.
Microsoft is busy to get their apps to more devices. The new Samsung Galaxy S6 and new Sony Xperia devices are getting the Microsoft apps per-installed. The company based in Redmond want more people to use their services, even with the Microsoft apps already running on all the Windows Phones.
