If you are someone who is interested in laptops and PCs, you would have heard of a certain lineup of laptops known as the Dell XPS laptops. If you have not, worry not as we are going to tell you briefly about the Dell XPS lineup. So you must be aware that Dell is currently the top PC manufacturer in the world along with HP and Lenovo. However, we can also argue that Dell’s XPS lineup, which is the top-of-the-line laptop lineup from Dell, is the best out of these three manufacturers. If we say that Apple’s flagship smartphone is the iPhone 11 Pro series then Dell’s XPS series is currently its flagship laptop series.

Dell XPS 15 and 17

Having said that, Dell has announced its first laptop in the Dell XPS series which is the Dell XPS 13 9300 that comes with a bezel-less design, smallest of webcams that we have ever seen and improved keyboard. But the company did this before the Coronavirus pandemic showed its full effect and its Dell XPS 15 announcement is presumably delayed. That, however, doesn’t mean we are not going to see the laptops as a new report shows the Dell XPS 15 along with a surprise Dell XPS 17.

It is being said that someone from Dell mistakenly revealed these laptops when attending a customer who was asking them about the launch of the latest Dell Precision business laptops. It is quite clear that the new Dell XPS 15 will adopt all the great things we have seen on the new Dell XPS 13 such as ultra-thin bezels on all sides and metallic frames on the side. The interesting part here is the presence of a bigger model which is said to be the Dell XPS 17 that will have a 17-inch screen. This will mean that Dell will make a comeback with 17-inch laptops in the XPS lineup after they were stopped back in 2011 for some reason.

As for other details, the Dell XPS 15 and 17 will both have 10th generation Intel processors same as the Dell XPS 13 9300. They will also feature USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support and Windows Hello for Face Authentication similar to Face Unlock for phones. It will also have a fingerprint scanner for faster unlocking and security. We did mention earlier that the launch of these laptops have been delayed but there is no word from Dell as to when they will actually be announced. So until then, all we have are these images to understand what the Dell XPS 15 and 17 will offer.
